Tati Quaglio, "The Migrant Being"
Hi, I'm Tati Quaglio. Originally from São Paulo/Brazil, I have lived in Ireland/Dublin since 2016. It was during my migrant journey that I became a therapist for migrants. I bring a unique perspective shaped by 20-year experience in diverse corporate roles before transitioning into psychotherapy. Completed a Higher Diploma in Psychology at DBS, and finishing a Masters in Counselling Psychotherapy in Person-Centred Approach at ICHAS.
As a migrant myself, I understand the challenges of navigating life in a foreign country and being in contact with different cultural backgrounds, which helps her to bring empathy and insight to her practice. I believe in a holistic approach to an individual’s development and growth, which leads me to integrate and connect other therapeutic approaches into her practice, such as internal family systems, family constellations, transactional analysis, character analysis, schema therapy and elements of cognitive and dialetic behavioural therapies.
